tonhalleLATE is an event for young people. It links “serious” and popular music, in tonhalleLATE the classical with the contemporary. The world-renowned Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, conducted by David Zinman, plays works by classical composers. Before and after, well-known DJs invite the audience to a disco where the foyer and entrance hall are transformed into dance floor and chill-out lounge with bar. All on the same evening, all in the same place: classic meets electro.
